Now Scheduling Private Art Parties....

Yes, we will book a private party for you!

All you need is at least 10 friends and the studio is yours. We have the private room that you can book on weekday evenings or weekend for a minimum of 10, max of 15.
Make your reservation and let the party begin, bring your drinks and snacks, everything needed to make a glass piece is supplied for you.
Girls night out, special occasions, office parties, church groups, showers, birthdays, school Activities, fundraisers, graduation parties...you name it, we can book it!
The cost for a two hour class is $65.00 per person with a minimum per class is 10 students.
You can choose from an Ornament Class, Coasters: Painting With Glass or Small Kiln Carving Plate.
Be sure to call in advance to book your special event and class choice to give us enough time to schedule the party. Just a reminder that Holidays are our busiest times and early registration is encouraged. This helps create a wonderful gift to you and your friends.
Our maximum capacity is 15.
We supply everything you need with the exception of libations. You may bring drinks along with snacks or appetizers.
A credit card is required at the time of reservation. It is used only to hold the reservation and your party. Remember, there is a minimum of 10 guests, so you will be charged if the party minimum is not met.
Since we are reserving a time slot and our studio for your group we require a 15 day cancellation notice IN WRITING, either by email or brought to the studio.
Please note that at a private party which is closed to the public. All participants attending must be reserved separately by name prior to the class. The studio must be reserved in advance by a particular group or for a particular event. Public walk ins are not allowed.

Utah Museum of Fine Arts Reopening Party

The UMFA will reopen on August 26-27, 2017. Everyone is welcome to join in.

I am truly excited to announce that my smaller works have been invited back to the Museum Store. This is a great honor to be included in this selected group of artisans.

Transpired body of work.

I started creating this body of work in 2007 and it is still one of my most commissioned works.

I often compare this to one of my favorite toys growing up, Lite-Brite. I do enjoy my job tremendously. However, If I were pulled aside at a young age and told, "You will have a career similar to playing with this toy". I would have never believed them. Cheers

Static..... Proposed In Large Scale

"Static" 2008, kiln formed glass micro rods 1mm, 17"x 72"x1.5". Still one of my most commissioned works.
I am waiting to hear back on a proposed commission for a large scale rendition of this work that will span 24'wide x 3' tall.

Chasm is almost complete-!

I have been working with one of my favorite patrons and was given only a color scheme. These are some of my most interesting assignments and commissions. Truly heart felt creations in the moment.

This triptych will have some powder glass across the mid section to create a thirsty feel. Left side image is of one of the full panels, 20"x12". Right image is of a detail.

Nucleus Dreams and Glass

What is on my studio table and in the kiln?

"Nucleus Dreams"
This is the beginnings of a body of work that speaks to our personal desires in life. What dreams we have for our selves and for our families.

These said dreams are so engrained into our psyches that they are almost Cellular. Any opposition or challenging of these dreams can be binding and limiting to our relationships.

Looking at how our beliefs in these dreams can hold us captive or have us rise to our better selves.
