"This exhibition is to explore the myriad interpretations of, uses of,and relationships with The Muse. From the otherworldly to the human to the inatimate. We are seeking the consistent, reoccurring sources of inspiration, and the artwork that has come about because of those muses."
Artist Statement:
I feel there is a fine line when we create in a playful manner versus creating in a place of ridged confines. Our muse seems to come out to play when we allow ourselves to be in the moment of playful, experimentation and creation. I find that when I give myself permission to be in a place of let’s see what happens, I create more profound work. I will be comparing the likeness of two mediums, watercolor and cast glass. Showing the fluidity and playfulness of each medium.
