Striped Flower Yard Art Workshop
Add a burst of color to your landscape that lasts through every season! In this two-day workshop, you’ll create a stunning fused glass flower featuring your own handmade striped glass. These vibrant blooms bring year-round color to gardens, flower beds, planters, and patios—even when everything else has gone dormant.
Day One: Create your custom stringer part sheets by arranging colorful glass into bold striped patterns. These sheets will be kiln-fired between classes.
Day Two: Cut and shape your petals from your handmade glass, then design and assemble your flower. We’ll complete the piece with a glass center and prepare it for its final firing before mounting it on a sturdy metal garden stake.
Every flower is completely unique, making this a fun project for beginners and experienced glass artists alike.

Materials:
We’ll be working with Bullseye COE 90 glass. Stringers and base glass are provided unless you specify otherwise.
Classes are on average 2-3 hours depending on the students interaction.
Small Class SIZE is limited to 12 students.

Class Creation Time
Class time is defined as a structured period that begins at a specified start time and concludes at an end time, allowing for a half-hour on completion period. This layaway time offers students a brief interval to complete their projects and prepare for their departure from the studio. However, if projects are not completed within the last half-hour grace of the designated end time, a fee of $35 will be incurred for each additional half-hour required. This policy ensures that students are encouraged to manage their time effectively while also maintaining the integrity of the class schedule.
