Glass Mandala Ornaments Workshop
Discover the beauty of symmetry and color as you create your own kiln-formed glass mandala ornaments. In this workshop, you’ll learn how to use mandala grids and templates to design stunning geometric patterns. I’ll guide you through the process step-by-step, sharing tips on balance, color placement, and composition before you begin working with glass.
Once your design is complete, you’ll bring it to life using colorful glass pieces, rods, and frit to create a one-of-a-kind fused glass ornament. Each ornament measures approximately 3 inches in diameter.
Most students will have time to create two ornaments during class, depending on their pace.
Your ornaments will be kiln-fired after class and will be ready for pickup once firing is complete. They make beautiful holiday decorations, thoughtful handmade gifts, or year-round sun catchers.

Materials:
We’ll be working with Bullseye COE 90 glass. Stringers and base glass are provided unless you specify otherwise.
Classes are on average 2-3 hours depending on the students interaction.

Class Creation Time
Class time is defined as a structured period that begins at a specified start time and concludes at an end time, allowing for a half-hour on completion period. This layaway time offers students a brief interval to complete their projects and prepare for their departure from the studio. However, if projects are not completed within the last half-hour grace of the designated end time, a fee of $35 will be incurred for each additional half-hour required. This policy ensures that students are encouraged to manage their time effectively while also maintaining the integrity of the class schedule.
