Glass Wind Chime Workshop :: May 15 Friday 6-8 PM
Creating kilnformed glass wind chimes can truly enhance the charm of your sun porch, yard or patio.
This workshop will focus on the process of making beautiful glass wind chimes. You’ll have the option to select from transparent or opal glass hues, and I can also play around with various color gradients.
By the end of the session, I’ll have a wind chime measuring about 8"x6", with a wooden top. I’ll gain skills in scoring and cutting glass into strips, along with understanding the chemistry behind glass, the required firing temperatures, and how glass reacts to heat. This is a single-day class, and I’ll be able to collect my finished project later, as the glass needs to be fired in the kiln for a total of 24 hours. This workshop is perfect for newcomers who have no prior experience working with glass.

Class Creation Time
Class time is defined as a structured period that begins at a specified start time and concludes at an end time, allowing for a half-hour on completion period. This layaway time offers students a brief interval to complete their projects and prepare for their departure from the studio. However, if projects are not completed within the last half-hour grace of the designated end time, a fee of $35 will be incurred for each additional half-hour required. This policy ensures that students are encouraged to manage their time effectively while also maintaining the integrity of the class schedule.
Cancelations Requirements
As soon as you know you are not able to make the workshop please let me know. I am not able to honor refunds at this time. However, I am able to transfer the funds to a future class within six months.
