NEW Lacy Plate or Bowl Workshop :: January 4 Saturday 1-3 pm
This workshop will be concentrated in how to create a glass work of art that creates strong organic open patterns in a fused glass bowl or plate. We will be using transparent and opal colors in the plate form. However, you can use this in any color variation that you want.
You will have a 7"x7" glass plate or bowl. You will learn how to cut glass, including the chemistry of glass, firing temperatures and how glass behaves under heat. This is a one day class with pick up of projects at a later date due to firing the glass in the kiln takes 50 hours total. This workshop is for beginners who have never worked with glass before.
Classes are on average 2-3 hours depending on the students interaction.
