Glass Wind Chime Workshop :: July 8, 2023
Kilnformed glass wind chimes are a lovely addition to your back yard or veranda.
This workshop will be concentrated in how to create a glass wind chimes. You will have choice in color glass in transparent or opal selections. However, you can use this in any color gradients that you want.
You will have an approximate hanging wind chime 8"x6" top of the wind chime will be made a wood. You will learn how to score and cut glass into strips, including the chemistry of glass, firing temperatures and how glass behaves under heat. This is a one day class with pick up of projects at a later date due to firing the glass in the kiln takes 24 hours total. This workshop is for beginners who have never worked with glass before.
Classes are on average 2-3 hours depending on the students interaction.
Class fee is $97 plus materials fee $40 Total $137.00
Small Class SIZE is limited to 12 students.
