In this workshop, I will delve into the exciting process of crafting a stunning glass work of art, specifically designed to showcase striking geometric patterns within a fused glass bowl or plate. My approach will involve utilizing a blend of transparent and opal colors to enhance the plate's aesthetics. However, I encourage you to unleash your creativity by experimenting with any color variations that resonate with your personal style. Together, we will explore the techniques and possibilities that will allow you to create a unique piece that reflects your artistic vision.

You will have a glass plate or bowl. You will learn how to cut glass, including the chemistry of glass, firing temperatures and how glass behaves under heat. This is a one day class with pick up of projects at a later date due to firing the glass in the kiln takes 50 hours total. This workshop is for beginners who have never worked with glass before.

Classes are on average 2-3 hours depending on the students interaction.

Small Class SIZE is limited to 12 students.

Studio address: 422 West 900 South Unit 107, Salt Lake City UT 84101

Please note IN PERSON WORKSHOPS: Cancelations Requirements: As soon as you know you are not able to make the workshop please let me know. I am not able to honor refunds at this time. However, I am able to transfer the funds to a future class within six months.

Class time is defined as a structured period that begins at a specified start time and concludes at an end time, allowing for a half-hour on completion period. This layaway time offers students a brief interval to complete their projects and prepare for their departure from the studio. However, if projects are not completed within the last half-hour grace of the designated end time, a fee of $35 will be incurred for each additional half-hour required. This policy ensures that students are encouraged to manage their time effectively while also maintaining the integrity of the class schedule.
