Textured Glass Plate :: IN PERSON :: August, 6 2022
Kilnformed Textured Glass Plate. This workshop will be concentrated in how to create a glass work of art that will be loaded with texture and overlapping colors. We will be using transparent colors and in a natural gradient sea blue color variation and in the plate form. However, you can use this in any color gradients that you want.
You will have a 4"x4" glass Plate. You will learn how to score and cut glass into strips, including the chemistry of glass, firing temperatures and how glass behaves under heat. This is a one day class with pick up of projects at a later date due to firing the glass in the kiln takes 50 hours total. This workshop is for beginners who have never worked with glass before.
Classes are on average 2-3 hours depending on the students interaction.
Class fee is $97 plus materials fee $40 Total $137.00
Small Class SIZE is limited to 5 students.
